Apply

Four steps. Done at home.

  1. 01
    Prep
Wash hands, push cuticles back gently with the stick, lightly buff the shine off each nail, wipe with the alcohol pad. Skip lotion.
  2. 02
    Lay out
Match each press-on to its finger using your size numbers. Line them up in order before any glue comes out.
  3. 03
    Press
Tabs: peel, press at a 45° angle from the cuticle down, hold 30 seconds. Glue: a thin layer on the natural nail, same angle, same hold. Avoid water for an hour.
  4. 04
    Finish
File any edge that catches. Then do everything you normally do — type, cook, lift, shower.

Tabs vs. glue

Adhesive tabs: 2–5 days, zero damage, perfect for an event or a trial run. Nail glue: 10–14 days, strongest hold, still gentle if you remove it properly. Both are in your kit.

Make them last

Gloves for dishes and cleaning, no picking at the edges, and a drop of cuticle oil at night. If a nail lifts at the edge, a dot of glue under it fixes it — don't pull it off.

Remove

Soak, don't pry.

Prying is how natural nails get damaged and how press-ons crack. Give it ten patient minutes and the set comes off clean and ready to wear again.

  1. 01
    Soak
Warm water, a squirt of soap and a splash of oil (olive or cuticle oil both work). 10–15 minutes.
  2. 02
    Wiggle
Slide the cuticle stick gently under the edge. If it resists, soak five more minutes. Never force it.
  3. 03
    Clean
Buff leftover glue off the natural nail lightly. Peel residue off the back of each press-on.
  4. 04
    Store
Back in the box in order. New tabs or a fresh dab of glue and the set goes on again.
Wear questions

Will press-ons damage my natural nails?
Not if you remove them by soaking. Damage almost always comes from prying or from over-buffing during prep. A light scuff is all you need.
Can I shower or swim?
Yes. Wait an hour after application, and expect water-heavy days to shorten wear slightly with tabs.
How many times can I re-wear a set?
Two to three wears is typical with glue, more with tabs. Chrome and cat-eye finishes hold up especially well.
A nail popped off — now what?
Clean the back, fresh glue, press and hold. If one cracked, text a photo; single-nail replacements are quick.
